These types of changes are considered normal wear and tear and do not constitute a manufacturing fault.

Customers are responsible for properly caring for their jewellery. Dream Design Jewellery recommends:

• remove jewellery before exercising, swimming, showering, going to bed, or engaging in heavy physical activities
• avoiding contact with chemicals such as soap, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, and chlorine
• storing jewellery separately to prevent scratching
• having jewellery inspected periodically by a professional jeweller

Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, neglect, or improper care is not covered under manufacturing fault claims.

Many gemstones used in jewellery are natural stones, which means that each stone is unique.

Natural gemstones may display variations in:

• colour
• tone
• inclusions
• internal characteristics
• patterning
• natural markings

These variations are natural characteristics of genuine gemstones and are not considered defects.

Product photographs are provided as a guide only. The gemstone received may vary slightly from images shown on the website or in-store displays.

Such natural variations do not qualify for refunds, exchanges, or returns unless the product fails to meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.

Some jewellery sold by Dream Design Jewellery may feature gold plating, rhodium plating, or other surface finishes.

Plated jewellery is created by applying a thin layer of metal over a base metal or alloy. Over time, and depending on usage, plated finishes may:

• gradually fade
• wear away
• change in appearance

The lifespan of plating varies depending on:

• frequency of wear
• exposure to chemicals
• body chemistry
• environmental conditions

This gradual wear is normal and expected for plated jewellery and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Customers may have jewellery replated by a jeweller if desired, which may involve an additional service fee.

Some items offered by Dream Design Jewellery may be made-to-order, custom-made, or specially produced after an order has been placed.

Production timeframes may vary depending on:

• the complexity of the design
• material availability
• workshop schedules
• customisation requirements

Estimated production timeframes will be provided where possible; however, these are estimates only.

Dream Design Jewellery will make reasonable efforts to complete orders within the estimated timeframe but will not be liable for delays caused by:

• supplier delays
• material shortages
• production issues
• shipping delays
• circumstances outside our reasonable control

Orders for custom or made-to-order jewellery cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, except where required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dream Design Jewellery will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or the purchase of our products.

Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian law, our liability is limited, at our option, to:

• replacement of the product; or
• refund of the purchase price.
